Connors, Bachtrack), violinist Robert Lakatos, won the First Prize at the prestigious Pablo de Sarasate International Violin Competition in Pamplona, Spain in 2015. These successes opened the door to his international career on the world’s renowned music scenes.
Robert Lakatos performed with the symphony orchestras of Navarra, Malaga, Madrid, Santiago de compostela, Murcia, Göttingen, Krakow, Gdansk, Monterey, Belo Horizonte, Zürich, London, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Novi Sad, as well as with the Belgrade Philharmonic.
He has collaborated with eminent conductors of today, such as Manuel Hernández-Silva, Gabriel Feltz, Uros Lajovic, James Judd, Christian Vasquez, Fabio Machetti, Nicholas Milton, Lior Shambadal, Antoni Wit, Philip Greenberg, Srboljub Dinic and many others.
Robert Lakatos was born in Novi Sad in 1991. He grew up in a musical family, where his mentor was his father, Imre Lakatos. As the youngest violin student in the history of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Lakatoš completed his undergraduate and master studies under the renowned pedagogue Dejan Mihailović. He continued his studies at the University of Arts in Zürich, and at the same time he professionally developed with top artists such as A. Rosand, J.
